Flocculation
There are some organic substances that are not retained in the filter because they are too small, and these cause the water to become cloudy. These turbid substances can be bound by an appropriate flocculating agent, which causes them to stick together to form flocs so they can be filtered out. Flocculating agents are available in liquid form, as flakes or as flocculation cartridges.
