That’s how it remains water
The basis for healthy, hygienic water treatment is created by adherence to four simple rules:
Rule 1: Maintaining the correct pH
The pH of the water should be 6.5 - 7.3. At pH values below 6.5, water is acidic and can cause corrosion of installations and fittings.
If the pH is above 7.4, the disinfecting action of added chlorine decreases greatly. It is therefore absolutely essential to check the pH regularly and to correct it if necessary before any further treatment of the water is carried out.
Rule 3: Binding particles and suspended matter
Turbid substances or other particles of dirt, metal ions and suspended matter that are so fine that they cannot be retained by the filter medium are bound by using flocculating agents. These form flocs that bind the particles and suspended matter, thus making them filterable.
Rule 2: Disinfection
Algae, bacteria and fungi can grow freely in untreated swimming pool water. Therefore it is necessary to ensure good, constant disinfection of swimming pool water at all times. We offer various disinfection systems.
When disinfecting with chlorine, for example, a chlorine content of 0.3 - 0.6 mg per litre must always be present in the water to ensure continuous sterilisation of pool water.
Rule 4: Filtration
Water filtration is a decisive component of water purification. However, the subsequent steps, for example disinfection, are indispensable. Only a good matching of mechanical-physical cleaning together with our water care products will guarantee you prolonged enjoyment of clean, spring-fresh swimming pool water.
A stable water cycle is based on the principle that everything the water has absorbed must also be removed from the water again. The better the water is cared for, the better will be the water quality. (Input = Output) To clean the filter itself in order to remove the substances that have accumulated in it, it must be back-flushed at regular intervals to flush out the pollutants filtered out of the water.
